Preview coming out of speaker

So, my preview volume on my headphones has been too low and I can barely beat match because I can barely hear the track. I turned up the “level” knob and it turned up the volume of the preview channel but I can also hear the track coming out of my speaker. So if I’m playing one track and previewing the next track I can hear the next track coming out of my speaker. If I turn the “level” knob down then I can’t hear the track I’m trying to preview. I cannot beat match to due this.
