I know I don’t have to tell anyone here to keep your mask on if you’re not eating or drinking (but if I do...don’t abuse the rule where you don’t have to wear a mask if you’re eating and drinking), but if you see someone not wearing a mask or wearing it incorrectly, tell an employee! I know there’s a stigma associated with snitching or you might be seen as a Karen, but please do something about it. I’m normally a very laissez faire moviegoer and very rarely will shush someone or tell them to put away their phone, but I plan on being a narc for everyone not wearing a mask and I hope you will too. Not wearing a mask will only get theaters closed again, so snitching on the non-mask wearers will help theaters stay open.

Also, if you feel like a theater is too crowded or the social distancing is too little or the employees won’t do anything about people not wearing walks, just leave. It’s a “free” movie anyway (in the sense we’re not being charged for a month), so you’re only out a little bit of time and gas.

We’ve all been waiting for theaters to reopen, but being and feeling safe should be your top priority. Oh, and be nice to the employees too. They’re probably going to be taking a lot of shit, so be patient and kind with them. Stay safe out there!
