So I recently got the plastic Barbie popcorn bucket and I love it, truly. I saw the Barbie movie for a second time and decided to bring it back with me to the theater.
The concession counter was pretty busy so I noticed a manager helping out her staff. When I brought my bucket up and asked for a popcorn, she told me free refills only the day of purchase and that Iād have to buy a large. I was fine with that, but I guess either people never bring back their buckets on different days, or she figured I didnāt understand Iād have to purchase at full price.
I genuinely just love this bucket and want to use it for the rest of the summerāitās no different than bringing a reusable cup to a coffee shop. So when I told the woman I was fine with paying full price she said she felt bad so she charged me for a medium popcorn which was nice.
But yeah do people just use the bucket once and then just use it at home? For the price it kinda seems like a waste, even though theyāre collectibles.
