Is a crustacean only tank a good idea? Particularly, for a beginner? [Help]

Post Body

Hello,

I am extremely interested in crustaceans and would love a tank with some compatible ones as the centerpiece but I would be brand new to saltwater. I've kept freshwater fish before but not in about 4 or 5 years.

First, would it even be feasible to keep a tank with just a few species of crabs and/or shrimp? Like would it be better for the stability of the tank to have at least a few fish? And I'm assuming they'd do better in a reef tank vs just live rock, but is that correct?

Of course any advice on feasibility and setup is welcome.

Thank you!
