Post Body

My pump is faster than my overflow by just a little bit, so I placed a ball valve on the pump. My problem is I can't seem to match the flows exactly no matter how many times I try adjusting it.

I can use the valve and make the pump slower, but then my water height in the display is much lower than I'd like, and my sump is pretty full. Any tips?

This is the overflow I'm using. The little sliding door to adjust the water flow/height isn't completely watertight so it drains to the bottom of the slots, ~8 inches down into the display. My sump can hold it, but it doesn't look nice being that empty

Edit: I have the 320 gph version of this
