Hey guys, I am trying to work with my job to take time off that will be at least fully paid by my job. I was thinking of taking 3 weeks (or 12 days since my work week is 4 days), do you guys think that’s enough? I work from home but I mainly do tech support/customer service, and it’s hard to be nice to people when you’re in pain so o was trying to give myself enough time to where I feel “normal”. Should I take more time off? I should note that by the time I get back my work schedule will have changed and I’ll be working 10 hours in one sitting and until almost midnight.
Also, Did any of your surgeons talk to you about breast sadness or the boobie blues? My surgeon mentioned it when we were talking about me, and the medication I was taking. Even though I’m not currently taking mood stabilizers or anti depressants anymore he suggested I reach out to my psychiatrist and ask for a mini prescription because some people get really sad after surgery. So did you guys get anti anxiety meds or anti depressants prior to surgery?
Last thing, for those of you who sleep with a partner, how was sleep the first couple of days? Did you decide to sleep elsewhere? Also should I get a pregnancy pillow?
Thanks for answering my questions! ❤️
