Earlier this year I finally jumped the gun and scheduled a consult for next month. Today I find out the earliest appointment actually isn’t until November unless I switch to a male surgeon. I looked him up, and his reviews are less than subpar. What do I do?!?
To make matters worse, I’m moving out of state sometime next month, from Salt Lake City to Boise. SLC is known as a surgical hub for the surrounding states. If I decide to reschedule in Idaho, I’d have to restart the whole referral, scheduling, wait time, finding a surgeon, etc. and push back the surgery even more which I was soooo ready to get done.
Should I keep the appointment in Salt Lake? Fly a plane back out here in November for a female surgeon? Or stay in Boise and start over?? Please HELP!!!
