And it went better than expected. Reading through this sub really prepared me for what the dr explained.

I'm currently a 36F, left breast is slightly larger than the other. We didn't discuss size (which I didn't have a preference), he wanted to go small enough to have my insurance approve but keep me proportionate. The Dr said out of my right side he'd like to take about 350g and the left he would take more to even them out. We would be moving the nipple and warned me there was a chance I could lose feeling.

Took pics and documented symptoms to submit to insurance.

At the end they put me on the surgery list. So I have a surgery date but it still needs to be submitted to my insurance for approval. Has anyone else gone through this or similar? I'm going through Highmark BCBS and have some stuff documented with my PCP (pain/symptoms). Were they hard to work with?
