Description: He is at a height of 5"11. He is also a very gruff man, as speaks with a rough, low, and masculine tone of voice. He has black hair that is cut short. He also has facial hair, in a form of an Elbert-like mustache. His eyes lack expression, it's almost as if they are empty.

He has an ok figure, he wears standard blue cavalier armor, and underneath it all he wears a simple brown tunic and black pants. He has a pretty ordinary face, think of it like an Older Noah or whatever.

He is a boring person, honestly. He is kinda plain, but seems knowledgeable about certain subjects. He speaks in a bored, tired tone voice, as if he has been deprived of sleep for ages. His default expression is that of an amused, yet bored expression. However, he is surprisingly very frightening when he's pissed; which doesn't happen often. He has a hard time expressing himself, and a rather difficult time in understanding emotion; and how it can possibly benefit someone. At the very least, he has a strong moral compass, but he doesn't care about it.

Finally, he always denies it but he likes to crave of battle; it gives meaning to his otherwise boring, colorless life.

Bio:

Harland is a simple man, with humble origins.

Harland was born to a middle-class family, consisting of him, his father and mother, a pet dog (whom is still at his home), and a younger brother in The Duchy of Arcias, by The Sacred Lake.

They lived peacefully, and happily in a house by this lake. Far too peacefully for Harland...

In his youth, his father and mother taught him and his brother some swordplay - so that they could defend themselves. Harland actually enjoyed this and his father decided to teach Harland everything he knew about swordplay. While, Harland's younger brother, Johnathan simply wanted to live a peaceful life as a scholar.

Harland's relationship with his parents wasn't strained, but admitedly they weren't that close. However, Harland and his brother, John had always from Day One harboured a sort of intense sibling rivalary. One time, while they were training, John was beating Harland in a practice duel. Out of pure rage, Harland got up from being knocked down and beated his brother half to death. His parents, like any other parents who see one of their children beat up their sibling half to death, disciplined him per say.

For the first time, Harland felt alive since those very first practice matches with his father. He enjoyed the thrill of battle, and getting back up when all odds stacked againsted you; he wouldn't admit this very fact to anyone else, however.

Harland was... admitedly... ambitious. Much like his father before him, one day after he finished his studies on the geography of Junith, he packed up and decided to become a mercenary, like his father before him. His family always knew that Harland would leave them like that one day, since he showed the same boredom, and wonderlust common in his family.

Years later, Harland, now 25 and slightly more experienced, was hired by a foreign prince, to help him retake his country. Harland accepted, as he honestly had nothing to lose, and in his own words

"To kill some time."

Additional Notes: This is my secondary character, I'd rather have Payton be chosen over this guy. Also, I chose the deities that I chose because it reflects his life. It should be obvious.

EDIT: Also, if he's not chosen, he's probably fucking around in an arena or something.
