In short, Reddit, like other social media platforms, lacks a referee. It does not ban people who are rude, insulting and who consistently engage in propaganda. It does not remove posts written by trolls, who are then given a single warning to get their act together or be permanently banned. There is no reason why Reddit users should have to be mocked, hurt, insulted, or deceived, but until there is a policy to take firm proactive action against such people, I no longer want to be on Reddit.
So I've begun my research into Reddit alternatives. There are many of them and they all offer different sorts of features, some quite interesting, but I have yet to find one that has the balls to kick trolls off and ban hurtful and false posts.
Any suggestions?
