Why have I never come across public sex or masturbation?

I'm nearing 30 and I get out often enough, I even enjoy overnight walks. How is it then that I've never come across a couple dogging in the streets, or someone whacking it on the side of a building? I hear these stories all the time as if it's commonplace. Where should I be looking? (I personally want to watch an exhibitionist doing it. Why else would I be asking?) 😏
