So I’ve (23F) have been seeing this guy (27M) and I was really into him. He’s such a gentleman and very chivalrous which is hard to come by. Last night after our date out, we went to my place and got intimate and I told him I’d prefer if we both got tested before taking it further. He expressed that we could just use protection but I explained to him that it isn’t 100% fool proof and they break and that I also like being intimate in other ways that don’t include protection specifically oral. He first said “oh I don’t do that” and so I told him I didn’t think we’d work out, because we wouldn’t be ysexually compatible. Unfortunately I am not a woman that can climax from penetration alone and I read a study that roughly only 25% of women can. Then he claimed that he’d just never done it before and that he’d never been asked and that’s why he said he doesn’t do it but that he’d do it for me if that was something i wanted. I feel like that’s a lie that he said to get what he wanted. And at that point I didn’t want him to do it. I want my partner to do it because they want to want me to feel good, not because it’s a chore. I doesn’t feel consensual and I’m big on that. He was still super respectful about the whole thing but it was sooo awkward after that, I don’t want to be with someone that only thinks about themselves in the bedroom. The fact that he’s never offered or just done it is odd to me. Do you think I’m wrong for not continuing? Or should I give him grace and be open to exploring that with him?
