How tight should a condom be?

So I don’t know how to say this without sounding like a douche but my dick is a bit over average in length (6.5” or 16ish cm) but that’s not why condoms are so tight, I am about 2.3” thick. So even magnums are pretty freaking tight on me. Are there any good brands for wider dicks? Or is the condom supposed to be really tight?
