It never ceases to amaze me how the volume of M4F personal posts outnumbers the F4M posts by a 10:1 margin. Given that females are 51% of the population, what is to made of that?
As one member messaged me, he feels like he is getting lost in the shuffle of other M4F ads. In fact, he felt like all of the M ads make men look like interchangeable parts.
To this I would say, know your value and self-worth. Know what makes you different from all the others out there. Be able to articulate that to your "audience".
As to the "Volume" question, I am afraid I do not have a great answer.
Bottom line: Be yourself. Everyone else is taken.
