Wool socks vs Cotten socks

So seen that wool is better then Cotten, I got a pair of wool socks smart wool socks to be exact and the wool takes a little more room then the Cotten socks I have. now wearing the wool socks actually feels better then the Cotten but I just got them and put them on and walked around the house for about 5 mins in them. But the wool takes a little more toe space to where I can still wiggle them but it’s like a flutter wiggle if that makes since, should I still go with the wool socks or na?
