(Discussion) Ladies! How do you contribute do your community or wider society? Do you use feminine skills for it?
Post Body

This is somehow inspired by the summer challenge, as I was thinking about putting this as my inner beauty goal, however as it is something I already do and have done for a while I thought it would be better as a thread in itself! I've not commented here much so I hope I'm ok to post, but I've been a long time (I'm talking years) lurker here and I've contributed more actively on FNF.

So I thought we could have a conversation about contributing to the wider society! I had volunteering in mind in particular as that's what I do, but I'm actually looking for how others contribute too, as I'm moving soon and will be finding new ways to get involved!

So ladies - do you help others? Do you help with animals? What do you do or have done in the past? Does it require specific feminine skills (or other skills?). Is it volunteering for a specific charity, or are you part of a group? Do you do something extra at work that helps others? Have you had any training perhaps in helping specific groups (for example people with ASD or anxiety or OCD) whether at work, volunteering, or even in your personal life?

I'm hoping to have a discussion about different ways of contributing, whether you choose to help your local communities, larger charities or causes, or if you don't (and why!).

I'll leave my response in the comments too, as there are some different things I've done, some quite unusual!
