I'm a manbaby in his 30's that's afraid of anything new. That's why I moved back into my mom's home and never really had a serious girlfriend*. Anyway, I just want to say with Marvel Phase 4, and the focus on a multiverse, I just love that I can see the same characters over and over, from 5,10, 20 years ago. And then clap! Honestly, MCU is much better about keeping characters around, even after they die, than Star Wars or Star Trek. For example:
Popular character does a heroic sacrifice... Make a prequel film... No one's ever really gone.
Another character gets Thanos-ed... Time travel... No one's ever really gone.
Major actor retires.... Someone new takes up the shield, er mantle.... No one's ever really gone.
Marvel show got canceled because nobody watched it.... Find them in a multiverse dimension.... No one's ever really gone.
Another studio previously made a movie based on Marvel... Disney owns everything now... No one's ever really gone.
Actual Actor Dies... (Hopefully) Deepfake them... No one's ever really gone.
*Note: True, unfortunately.
