I did Nazi that coming.

A guy called up and asked if we were letting "lesser members of society" into our location. I let him know that "all the regular degenerates are welcome...with a proof of vaccine, or negative covid test as per government regulations". He said "well what if I just show you my Jew tattoo, will that work?!" So I said "yeah, that and proof of vaccination or a negative covid test will do just fine" to Wich he responded "zig hail, Hitler!" And hung up.

I wanted to mention a few things here for clarification :

1) it's "sieg heil" if you're going to call someone Hitler, at least pronounce things correctly.

2) those complaining are confused about having something taken away from them. WE ARE IN A LOCKDOWN. But unlike the last lockdown, some people are vaccinated which has proven to lessen the transmission of covid, and drastically reduce symptoms if they do get infected. So, those that are vaccinated are getting extra benefits by being able to go out. Everyone else getting a cupcake doesn't mean they were taken from your cupboard, you just didn't get a cupcake. The 2 things that will either happen in the near future will either be; a) get vaccinated/tested so you can go out. b) a harder lockdown that no longer includes vaccine exemptions. I'm sure in the long run we will see an end to checking vaccinated status, but with the current state of hospitals we are closer to option b and seeing a hard lockdown for all.

3) employees didn't make these decisions. So the hostess you're telling at, the server you give a hard time to or the bartender you call Hitler, are all separated by 3-10 levels of pay and control from those that did.we don't control prices or policy, which I feel is something many know, but are unable to understand in a realistic capacity.

4) choosing to not be vaccinated for this particular virus (because you most likely are vaccinated for a dozen others) is in no way even a slight comparison to being Jewish during Nazi Germany. You can go to work, you can own your home or business, you can get the necessities, and nobody is coming for you in the night. You can also change your status at any time, for free. Maybe you won't be able to go see the new James Bond film in theaters - but you also aren't having your family separated and killed in a gas chamber.

And finally, because this is a long post that nobody will really read anyway, I'll say that the big conspiracy that everyone is wondering : "why does the government want me to get this vaccine so badly?!" The answer is more boring that you'd like to admit. They want society functioning normally so you can go back to paying taxes. So workers can work full time and pay taxes. So you can watch a movie and pay taxes on that popcorn and ticket. They want you to drive to the mountains and fill up with gas so they can get taxes on those. They want to spend less on healthcare costs. And, surprise surprise, dead people don't pay taxes.
