Salutations ladies. I torqued together a spooky little audio drama as part of my Youtube horror anthology series Dusty Attic. There's a starring role that needs filling if you're interested in auditioning.

Elizabeth Vega, 20s or 30s. Newly married, works remote customer service, no children as of yet. Things are pretty normal (Even boring) until her husband has an accident at work and she enlists the services of one Dr. West. Yes, I'm afraid it's that Dr. West--the one with the degree from Miskatonic University.

Lines 1. (Gracefully refusing a drink. Your husband has been in a horrible accident and you're meeting with this unconventional doctor who's sure he can be saved.) Thank you, no. I'm not sure I'd be able to keep anything down, honestly. I'm so nervous...

1. (A little shaky, but remaining composed.) Sure. He was working--his dad owns a lumber company, you know--and I guess he was feeding some stuff into the woodchipper.

2. (Smiling, laughing a little through tears.) I saw your card on the board by the phone, actually. It was headed in his handwriting: Call in case of horrible, horrible emergency. And well... this certainly qualifies.

3. (Mixed emotions: Dread, discomfort, awe. You see what's left of your husband and it is less than you'd hoped, but still responsive to you.) Frank? It's me, I'm here... Pause I don't believe it... how is this possible? how can he hear me?

4. (Full on panic attack.) He talked! He can see me and hear me and talk to me! How is this possible! I don't know... I don't know... Idonnoidonnoidonno... God what is happening here I don't understand I don't know what to do I can't think oh god I can't breath I--
