audio not playing back?

Just got reaper. Been using WASAPI as my driver, but it has latency. Youtubers recommended ASIO, & although when I record my guitar I see its being recorded, there’s no sound during or after I play it back. Any tips on how to fix ASIO so i can hear myself play?
