So, I made another post about me tracking drums in reaper along to a click track I made in Audacity. Well, I went to edit the drums in Reaper after making a grid that I assumed would line up perfectly with the clicks that I flew in from Audacity, and I heard some weird flamming of the clicks. So, I zoomed into discover this horror (see screenshot). As you can see, only every other click is lining up with the grid in Reaper. The grid lines are the metronome in Reaper and the red waveforms are the click that I imported from Audacity. I mean, in my mind, there's no way to edit this thing - I actually played along to a click that wasn't exactly 148 bpms. It was "148 every other bpm"
What a nightmare. How the hell could this have happened?
