Let's use this forum for reporting and compiling a list of bugs, both small and game breaking that Hirez still needs to address. So far, below is what I have, but if you leave more in the comments, anything I missed, I will add them to the list.

BUGS:

  • Standing pose bug - seemingly randomly, you'll spawn with no ability to change your figure, both arms out.
  • Knife bug - it appears as though they have a knife out and are slashing you, but they have a gun. The audio is also messed up so that you're not sure if they are trying to knife you if you're closer to them.
  • Very similar to the knife bug but less severe I think - you can see someone using dagger very quickly sometimes, which I think indicates that they have a gun and are firing at that rate, but the audio and movement of the knife is not at native settings so it's less deceiving than the bug above this imo.
  • Weapons and items including chicken trophies in walls/floors aren't retrievable.
  • Similarly, looting items from people on steep cliffs can be buggy, and cause the same loss of these items.
  • There's a chest in Underpass literally below the solid ground near the forge.
  • Hunter proximity mine hit box is abnormal and will get stuck in doorways and such.
  • Invisible people - players not rendering, having vision when you don't from a far distance.
  • Audio bug - sometimes you can't hear chickens, or players.
  • More specific audio bug - if your music is set to zero, you won't hear chicken sounds.
  • Chests don't render in time.
  • 'No reg' on weapons sometimes.
  • By going into corners, you can see through walls by changing the camera angle, sometimes even see outside of buildings.
  • Sometimes you can't shard items (seen on stream).
  • Random disconnects - as far as I know it's still a thing.

  • Mage soar can be replaced by an inferior rarity.
  • Hunter is visible after using invisibility (I think this is a unintended but it only happens close range).
  • Sometimes you hear footsteps for a brief moment after you cease all movement, which potentially makes you worry about other players being there.
  • Achievements not working - Geared Out and Decimation in particular.
  • Quest Re-rolling can net you the same quest.
  • There's a mountain near Coldmist Village and Valley with buggy ground which allows players to go inside it/hide while being able to shoot.
  • While using the slug rifle on default settings, sometimes the crosshair becomes very wide and difficult to aim (especially with ADS).
  • While landing at underpass you can get stuck in the stalactites over the entrance. This bug is probably a result of hitbox interaction as it stands now and may not be considered a bug, but it can still be debilitating and probably isn't limited to underpass.
  • Similarly, you can get stuck in doors on mounts, or rounding corners on foot. Landing in certain areas makes you stuck (the wall in Crossing comes to mind).
  • Some buildings on the minimap do not correspond directly to buildings in the open world, especially in the Crossing/Valley/Coldmist areas.
  • Spectating bugs: player position may be innaccurate and player POV misrecords whether or not player is scoped or not.
  • Mounting animation sometimes cancels early, forcing you to mount again.
  • Proximity Mine occasionally just explodes on contact with the world.
  • Aiming Flare at the ground, sometimes it bounces, sometimes it just instantly disappears.
  • Sometimes reloading weapons triggers the reload noise but nothing happens. Usually pressing reload afterwards fixes.
  • Sometimes reloading while mounted doesn't work, as when you get off the horse it autoloads, doing the full animation.
  • Assassin's blink is not consistent: either you don't go the full distance or you teleport back to where you started, even if there is nothing to collide with in plain sight.
  • Assassin's concussion bomb sometimes does not launch you or affect the movement of other players as it should.
  • Occasionally players can randomly float in the air, walk around, sometimes be stuck up there (making them easy targets).
  • The forge does not always show the timer for items that take 1 minute to craft.
  • The abilities that remain on the ground stop bullets and other projectiles.

ADDED AFTER 08/15/18:

  • Jumping from the Zeppelin is delayed 1-2 seconds sometimes. You cannot immediately jump after the countdown.
  • Health and Armor pots have a unique bug where if you hold down the button to use them, it will attempt to use another after one is complete - the entire animation goes off, and nothing happens. You do not get healed more than once by holding down the G/H to use potions despite the animation indicating that you should.

POST PATCH BUGS:

  • Chicken trophies can show as collected.
  • Collecting chicken trophy quests still exist.

Although there are a plethora of other problems from not banning griefers, to servers, to balance problems, let's keep this thread focused on actual bugs in the game.
