Tesla's Q2 Revenue in 2018 Was Pretty Good. Will they struggle to meet it?
Post Body

In Q2 it is going to be tougher and tougher to show year-over-year growth because a year ago they were starting to show Model3 revenue and were still selling quite a few Model S and Xs.

Q2 of 2018 was pretty good. They showed $3.36B in automotive revenue.

Q3 of 2018 was even better they showed $6.1B in automotive revenue

Q1 of 2019 was $3.7B in revenue.

If they deliver 75,000 units, mostly Model3, they would have to have an ASP of $44,800. That's going to be really tight.

Maybe they make it this quarter, maybe not, but Q3 is going to be a big hurdle to leap.
