Acacia Confusa, also known as Philippine acacia, Taiwan acacia,and Formosan koa, is a perennial tree native to South-East Asia. It looks very similar to the endemic Koa tree (Acacia Koa) and is considered an invasive species. It, and most if not all acacia species, contain the phytochemical N,N-Dimethyltryptamine. The concentration is the highest in the root bark (up to 2%) with slightly less in the trunk bark. This level means its bark is a viable candidate for extraction using a simple acid/base (A/B) extraction. If all variables are in ones favor, it is possible to get 2g of DMT from 100g bark via such an extraction. With dosages ranging from 10mg (for a very mild experience) - 80mg (full blown rocket ship ride beyond outer space, and the limits of your mind where machine elves elves inhabit another plane of existence) that is equivalent to 20 to 200 doses. This chemical is endogenous to many species on the planet, plants and animals alike, including human. Our bodies are designed to rapidly metabolize it via mono amine oxidase, therefore, a typical trip last only 15 minutes after which you’re back to zero State before ingesting the chemical. After effects can last a little bit longer are generally mild. One can ingest an MAOI inhibitor, which will prevent the rapid metabolization, and give the user a much longer experience. This is how Ayahuasca is made from a vine that contains DMT and other plants that contain the MAOI inhibitor. The experience taken in this manner is very different, but equally spiritual and worldview altering.
