The selling realtor chosen gave them what would be called a buyers contract which has them paying for every contingency under the sun. In the end game it will cost them almost 30k in fees. The realtor had this as part of their standard contract. The buyer doesn't have any skin in the game and my parents weren't in fully sound mind to sign as they didn't fully grasp the contract till after it was explained to them. They are supposed to be covering all inspections, taxes, buyers closing fees, sellers closing fees and all other fees. He was suckered into this apparently. Can he claim foul and back out of the sellers contract?
They are selling as they have relocated.
