Questions before I try to become an agent

Post Body

So I’ve been very interested in being a real estate agent as I want to learn more about that field. I’ve been looking into courses for it and I wanted to ask a few questions about the job before I start the path to it. My first one is when working for a firm as a real estate agent, do you have to find your own leads or are they given by the firm? I’ve seen some say they do and some say it’s up to you to find them. That’s a part that worries me bc I feel I would enjoy being an agent for everything but finding leads with certain methods. I talked to a guy who was a real estate agent once and he mentioned he worked with a team at his job and I wonder is that a normal thing at firms?
