Been in present home for almost 4 years. House is too small, family needs are asking for larger home. The market in our area is still hot but cooling off a bit. However, houses are still selling for 30% more than what they cost 3 years ago, depending on neighborhood and renovations on a given home. We could wait a year or more in our present home but we’d really like to have more space. Does it make sense to wait it out and perhaps prices drop a bit but risk rates going up in 2023 or 24? Is it too soon to move after only living in a house for 4 years?
