First Time Wanna-Be Homeowner, Where Do I Start?

Post Body

Hello! So, I've been pretty ready to buy a home but I'm not sure where to begin. What are the steps, here? Do I find a realtor first? Do I get prequalified to see what I can afford first? Do I apply for FHA loans/down payment assistance first? If I find a realtor will they help with those applications? Will whoever I get prequalified from help with those?

It's all so daunting and confusing. If I just had a step by step guide I swear I could do it, but being tossed into this and seemingly internet sources not helping makes this real hard.
