So to summarize: my wife and I are buying a foreclosure, which is actually in great condition. The day before our closing, our lawyer informed us there was a clerical error on the title from the foreclosure and it had to be corrected before the sale could be closed. So we request an extension for a week. A week goes by and our lawyer says the title office for the bank needs another two weeks and will now cost us an extra 2500 or so for the extension.
What recourse do we have other then demanding a seller credit for the two week extension. TIA
