First time testing MDMA , marquis reagent unsure of result

My first time testing as it’s been over 15 years and back then I was just young and dumb. Marquis reagent bubbled and turned black almost instantly but was just curious about the purplish/red ring on the edges of the test.
I’ve also ordered a full panel of reagents.
