UPDATE 12/11/23: I was able to get the subscription canceled by emailing [email protected]. I think that email skipped ahead in line and saved me agony, folks.
Howdy Everyone,
In my ever constant search for ways to gain more time in my life to do what I want, while losing weight and getting healthy, I'm trying out ready-made meal services (heat & eat).
This time around I tried FlexPro with their claim of healthy, delicious meals with an ever changing menu.
Got a one week "subscription."
- Food is NOT terrible, but its NOT great either
- Fairly small portions with HIGH SODIUM content per meal - 50-60% of the daily recommended intake value!!
- That is entirely TOO high to be HEALTHY.
- It's nearly impossible to read the content labels
- There's one of those weird ass "diapers" under each meal that you find when you get meat packs at the grocery store (ewww).
- Menu is pretty static week per week (after reviewing the next week's offerings...).
- Lacking variety
- Loads of carbs
- Too much salt
I'm not particularly over-the-moon, so I try to cancel so:
- I call the phone number.
- Phone number is a recording that tells me to use the chatbot - and then it hangs up on me.
- Use the chatbot
- There is NO "chat feature"
- ONLY automated choices: wrong address, change credit card, delivery issues and the like.
- I have to choose a variety of the "wrong" issues to get the chatbot to chime in.
- Then the chatbot tells me: "that our account managers work from the oldest-created tickets to the newest ones. Once they reach your request they will gladly assist you with your account. Normally they reach out within 24-48 business hours - which is NONSENSE.
I then send an email requesting a cancellation.
Then I start looking online about their salty meals - and lo and behold, THERE ARE NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU about FlexPro meals shady business practices - namely, the inability to cancel and the ongoing charges.
Before you get into any nonsense with FlexPro check out this investigative report about the quality of the food FROM ex employees here: https://www.kshb.com/news/local-news/investigations/flexpro-meals-delivery-service-has-history-of-health-code-violations

Here's what employees say about working at this place: https://www.indeed.com/cmp/Flexpro-Meals/reviews
All in all, this place feels like a scam DON'T DO IT
They’re a total scam. I worked there for 9 month which was way too long. Their Customer Service are cheap hires from Nicaragua that they dispose if things don’t go their way. I worked in the retention department. They have you reach out to us if you want to cancel on purpose to make us try to save you with deals. They changed the systems that we worked with 5 times in the 9 month I was there. We had several hundred customer fall through the cracks, if you cancel it could be that you will still be charged because the system doesn’t work correctly. The food is absolutely horrible and the ingredient list a total lie. No way one small meal can have 70-100g of protein with only 4 stripes of chicken in them. They’re over seasoned and the sodium level is astronomical. I had people call me with doctor notices how the food makes them sick because of the high sodium in the meals. STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE FROM FLEXPRO MEALS. You’ll get more for your money at other meal prep company’s. The portions are way too small and way too overpriced.
