New Section Lead - Frustrated at the lack of firm direction about returning to work
Post Body

Hello,

I am a new section lead in RMD and we’ve been asked to “encourage” our hybrid employees to return to work 1-2 days a week. I’ve discussed and the first question they all ask is “is this mandatory”. Leadership gives us nothing to stand on and they either need to strictly enforce it or leave things alone. “Scott Allison wants people back in” is what I am told.

Anyone else dealing with anything like this and if so, what is your direction? My stance has stood strong with my employees that I am not going to force them back in for a job that they’ve been doing from home for 3 years unless I am literally forced to do so.

Thanks in advance!
