I followed this guide by /r/GreatGlobox to run the Control Panel on Linux with Wine:
It works for the most part, but there seems to be a bug that prevents it from being usable: When I try to automatically search for games, there is no result. When I try to manually set the location, I get an error saying "Attempted to divide by zero." and the application freezes.
I would like to use the Control Panel to enable a texture pack. Or is there another way to do so? Then I wouldn't need the Control Panel.
I'm using the GOG version of Rayman 2, installed via Minigalaxy, a third party GOG game manager for Linux. It installs the game together with a Wineprefix on which the game runs. I tried running the Control Panel on that Wineprefix, but that didn't change anything.
The registry of that Wineprefix doesn't seem to have entries for Rayman 2, so that's probably why it can't be automatically located.
Any ideas?
Edit: I got auto-detection to work by installing the game manually with the GOG installer. Manually configuring the game location is still broken, but this will do I guess.
Leaving this up in case someone else knows another way or is struggling with this.
