What does being "rational" mean to you?
Post Body

I just found this sub, it has interesting discussion but I'm having a difficult time getting the point of what this is about. Does rational mean something that is "objective" and can be communicated in meaningful way or how do you feel about it?

I feel psychedelics sometimes give me some personal psychological insight which is pretty much in tune with western science but then there are some weirder revelations about nature of consciousness and reality that I've been thinking sometimes. The thing is that I choose not to fully believe in any of those but leave them in kind of "not sure but it might be so" -state.

Am I being irrational here? These thoughts are about if things like oneness, metaphysical idealism, synchronicity and panpsychism are valid. I've never been into angels / demons / afterlife / reincarnation (that's the woo territory for me).
