This seems something that lately crossed my path more and more -- The notion that Nicotine is an integral part of many psychedelic proceedings and that its absence in partially to blame for many of the more excessive conclusions western explorers have arrived at. Have you ever deliberately used nicotine in your journeys, and how has that affected things (if at all)?
I know smoking cessation is often something people use psychedelics for so it seems a relatively niche line of inquiry but if someone knows it's probably this place.
