Context: This is mostly an issue on Instagram, as ship pictures never appear much here, but it's rant time. (Marked NSFW because of language)

What is going on with this community? Since Sam Maggs' tweet about Rivet being lesbian (which i take with a grain of salt due to her leaving IG before RA was complete, and tried to steal credit for Rivet's name) has been getting more and more hot, people have decided to make Rivet x Angela art (I dub this Rivela) which is amazing. But what ISN'T is the homophobic replies. People saying stuff like "F*ck lesbian and LGBT" and "Death to homos" is nothing short of fucked up. I don't approve of Rivela or Rivchet (Rivela is because I don't believe Maggs, and Rivchet is because Ratchet & Rivet are counterparts, it's like dating a mirror) but I don't admonish them.

Why? Because, art is difficult to make, when they make it beautiful, it's amazing to look at regardless of its content (prime example is WolfChalk) and regardless of MY beliefs, they were confident enough to pick up that pen or brush (digital or real) and make something so well done that I can't stop looking at it, or even better, it makes my day because it's so beautiful. That takes a lot of confidence. Confidence that these homophobic pricks want to ruin because they're too overzealous for their own damn good. And regardless, why stifle the creative spirit? If it's beautiful, who cares what it is? I love all of WolfChalk's pictures, because of how beautiful and well done they are. Regardless of the pictures' content. And there's some that have disagreeable content that I love anyways because they look amazing and it takes confidence i don't have.

In closing, you see an LGBT picture, or disagreeable picture that someone made, either appreciate the effort and beauty, or SHUT UP. Period. Stop trying to kill these people's incredible confidence because of YOUR beliefs.
