I am officially leaving this subreddit until the next game is close to launch. With Rift Apart's hype fading away, im seeing more and more posts and comments unfairly dunking on Rift Apart just because it's not like the PS2 games. I'm tired of losing karma just because I commented an opinion that's different from the circlejerking norm of bashing Rift Apart and hating on it and the new characters like they're spawns from Hell. This community has become the epitome of a circlejerk community with people that have differing opinions from the "new bad, old good" circlejerk.

I just hope that in the future you guys will grow up, because you turn many people including me off of the games with your shitty attitude. The up/down vote system is not meant to circlejerk and silence people with a different opinion than yours. It's meant to give someone a visual signal that what they've said is bad. Vice versa for upvotes. Opinions are not bad. Having a different opinion is healthy and part of life, but you assholes apparently can't take off your fucking nostalgia glasses for a second to just enjoy the new game. I can understand the 2016 game, as even I cringe at the humor, but do I downvote people that say they like it? No, because I RESPECT their opinion. You guys with your nostalgia glasses can't respect shit apparently.
