What is the allure with Rovers?

Just curious to ask owners, whats the attraction to these vehicles? I love the aesthetics and contemplated purchasing one until i dug deep and uncovered the expenses and issues that accompanied many models of recent years. $850 oil change? Mechanical and Electrical issues very frequently. I still love the look and style, but it pushed me away. So im curious, im not bashing by any means, but for you loyalists, whats the attraction to these vehicles?
