So I lost my job 4 weeks ago. It sucked, but I knew I would count on unemployment for a few weeks while I found something else. After 4 weeks of being stuck in limbo, I found out today that I will not be receiving benefits from my state. When I was let go, my employer told me that the company was losing money, and they had to cut back. So this is what I told the state. When the state investigated my previous company told them something very different. And since they two stories were not the same, I was declined. Todays has not been fun.
