While I’m broke right now and have just generally been going through a really hard time with work and a death in the family and now dealing with long covid, I was able to cash in points for a $3 amazon gift card in a survey website and I want to pay it forward. I know it’s not much, but maybe it will be something nice for someone! To participate here, you must have a wishlist that includes at least one item for $3 or less, doesn’t have to be the one in your flair, (with free prime shipping) (I will pay tax though), and have posted an intro here at some point.

I love the other contest going on where you write a love letter to yourself, and I wanted to do something similar for everyone, but especially people who might find it too hard to say something nice about themselves.

The two things you have to do:

1. Tell us a little about yourself. Who you are, what’s going on with you. Maybe things have changed since your intro was originally posted. What’s life like now? Share a picture or two if you want. (Bonus points for pics of pets lol.)

2. Find someone else on this thread you think is cool, and in your post, tag them and tell them why they’re awesome! You can look through their profiles too not just what they write here. Be specific, not just, like, “you seem nice” or whatever.

Optional: tag someone else who hasn’t entered yet - but if you do, you have to say something nice about them, too!

While I’m not fishing for compliments, I guess since there’s no one else here yet I have to say something about myself. I just got my dream job! Not sure about the start date yet, but I’m going to be a labor organizer with my state’s public education union. I have two dogs and two cats, and they are my favorite people.
