So I love this community for its diversity and the people who are not only compassionate and incredibly generous, but come from all walks of life, in all shapes, sizes, colors, interests, and I dig finding out about new stuff all the time. So, in the spirit of that, I want to launch a weekly contest to allow you to flex the things you wish others new about. And since I’m a fan of alliteration, we’re gonna rock six subjects for Sunday:

1. Listenable

music, podcasts, audiobooks, stuff you can digest with your earballs

1. Readable

books, comics, graphic novels, manga, articles, poems, letters that make words that make enjoyment

1. Watchable

movies, TV shows, YouTube shorts, TikTok snippets, cartoons, motion graphics, pleasure for your eyeholes

1. Usable

products, tools, home goods, life hacks, eco-friendly, rechargeable, something with a use that you use to be useful

1. Wearable

THAT DRIIIIIIIIIPPPPPPPP

1. Wild Card… able

the world is your oyster, so you could share a globe & oysters, or whatever rad, weird, incredible, or insane rabbit you wanna pull out of the hat. Hang your huge metaphorical truck nuts off your monster road hog and give us the goodest of goods (^{Can be a second item from the above categories or something that doesn’t fit into any of them.)}

You can do all 6 categories or just 1, no pressure. Ideally this is a contest where you let people in on your under the radar knowledge. That band not enough people know about, the movie you wish more people watched, etc. Hopefully along with being a contest this will be a thread to discover cool new things and also spread the wealth to your fellow gifters.

I’m gonna choose a winner based on one super cool thing that gets put out there each week, but just in case I can’t choose, use SECRET SAUCE somewhere for the randomizer.

Contest will always go for a little over 24 hours, I’ll choose winners Tuesday afternoon. Have something on your wishlist under $10ish - 20ish (depending on my budget that week).
