Guys... It happened! My bf (now Fiancé!) popped the question! I know that many who entered my last contest asked me to post a follow-up and so why not do it WITH a contest!

OK for anyone who cares about my engagement here is the story, it's not short!:

My fiancé took the time to call my papa (dad) and ask for his blessing, he was given it but my mommy felt left out, so she requested that me and fiancé have a dinner with them so we could talk about our future...

The only thing is, is that fiancé couldn't wait so he actually popped the question early on 4/20 (lol blaze it)… We were actually having a weird little tiff and I won't lie yahhh girl was annoyed at boi... Anyways I sorta was ignoring him because I just needed to chill out since I just got home from werrrrk, and fiancé follows me into my room and is awkwardly standing in the doorway...

I am like what the heck is this man doing, he's being weird and I am irritated lol... I am like "What dude, do you need something you're being weird..." he fumbles with his words, more awkwardness, and walks over to my bed... Then suddenly this guy, gets down on one knee, and pulls out the box!!!! I INSTANTLY start crying, like for real ugly tears... One because why right now?! I won't lie I wasn't wearing pants cause I was home trying to get comfy (lmao) and two because I couldn't believe he was doing it right after me and him had a little fight lol!

He told me how much he loved me and how he had been looking and waiting for the right moment and figured what a better time than while I am annoyed and irritated with him! It was so silly and definitely on brand for him and I definitely said yes... Well... We still needed to have that dinner with my parentals...

Onto... Dinner with my parents, we decided to wait to announce engagement to see how dinner with my parents went. There wasn't fear of anything bad but we wanted to respect that they wanted a formal dinner before he technically popped the question. My parents were so kind and sweet to us and they told us not only do they want us to be happy but that we have their blessing! They also told my fiancé that he better start practicing calling them Dad & Mom!

Anyways the following day after that dinner we had an OFFICIAL engagement dinner together, just the two of us, we took pics (see below) and we announced our engagement! I have been showered with SO much love and support and it's been an absolute dream! My parents called me to congratulate us and now I am on my way to planning our future nuptials!!!
