Edit: While you all were amazing, I could only choose one winner. I loved all the ideas about stinking up the place or gluing things shut, BUT, my favorite idea was both original and crazy devious. So congrats u/AntisocialBen , whose idea of buying $100 worth of keys with their enemies phone number on them all around the neighborhood was just spectacular. It’s got longevity, randomness, persistence, it could still be causing problems for months! I loved it. I messaged you u/AntisocialBen in regards to your prize so get back to me at your convenience.

Alright so I don’t know how this is gonna go, but it seems like it would be fun, so what the hell, right?

Here’s the situation:

You’ve just managed to purchase your dream home. You’ve been saving your entire life and opportunity knocked and you were there to answer. You’re beyond excited. You’ve dotted all the i’s and crossed all the t’s. The ink isn’t even dry on the page yet when, what’s this?! You look across the street as a moving van is just pulling out of the driveway. Your mortal enemy, your nemesis, the anathema to your very existence in human form, has just finished moving in across from your dream home. Well, this isn’t going to stand. So it’s time to get nefarious!

Through a mistake in the mail, you learn your rival isn’t actually moving themselves in to stay until after the weekend. That gives you 3 days to ruin this for them and drive them back into the helipit from whence they came.

For this contest, you have a hypothetical budget of $100. What’s the most annoying, evil, bothersome thing you can purchase and put in to motion to get them to regret the day they crossed swords with you? Is it buying $100 worth of plastic forks, sticking them in to their lawn, then breaking the handles off so they have to spend hours pulling $100 plastic fork nubs out by hand. Or maybe it’s buying $100 worth of canned squid and pouring it down all the vents in the home so they get to enjoy that lovely new home smell of old, spoiled seafood. (Also, let’s keep this fun y’all, I don’t want you doing anything that might involve a lengthy court trial and having to get to the bottom of why no one has seen your neighbor in over a month…)

So here’s the rules:

• Whatever you’re evil plan, it has to be able to be purchased via Amazon.
• Don’t worry about Prime or shipping times for the hypothetical purchase, just pretend whatever it is, it will arrive tomorrow.
• You can put multiple plans in motion as long as the cost of the materials is under $100. And don’t link what you’re buying, just describe it and your plan to implement it.
• Have something on your WL under $15. Don’t link it, if you win and I can’t access it, I’ll contact you.
• DO be a dick, but just to your imaginary enemy. Not to the other awesome peoples in this group.
• Have fun. I’ll pick a winner come Friday daybreak so you have until Thursday at midnight. If not US based, please have a gift card I can send you.
