Edit : It is Saturday night, and my car is still in the shop. They still didn't say what's wrong with it or how much it will cost. So, the contest is still open until I hear from the auto shop!

My car broke down Sunday, and it's in the auto shop. I'm waiting for them to call me and tell me what's wrong with it and how much it will cost. So, guess how much it will cost to fix my car.

Details of the car problem(s):

I started the car, there was a loud thunking under the hood, so I turned the car off and took out the keys. The thunking continued for about 5 min, and black smoke started coming out from under the hood. Then, I accidentally left the lights on for hours, so the battery died. I don't know what is wrong with my car yet (except that it also needs a battery now too).
