Congrats to u/Set-To-Wumbo for your suggested rabbit hole. I started watching those challenge video and fell down a rabbit hole of other challenge videos and had a ton of fun watching.
However, I’m going to add an additional honorable mention to u/Sable__ for the Alice & Kev story. That was a really interesting and fun hole to fall down also and it was just the right amount of weird and creepy to keep me wanting to see what happens next. So I’ll be adding an additional smaller prize for you as well.
So yeah, I was on my bike on Tuesday in the bike lane and a car decided it needing to get around another car was more important than the existence of my pink fleshy meat sack covered bones, so it just swerved over me and drilled me off the bike.
Luckily they were one of those kind and compassionate people who decided not to stick around and instead sped off as quickly as they could.
This color of eyeshadow brought to you by bouncing your face off the street.
But my knees and ankles got the brunt of the crash and today my ankles look like they’re smuggling grapefruits and my feet look like I was crushing grapes. So, I’m taking my down time to ice and elevate my feet so I’m gonna be stationary a bunch.
That means, lots of time to fiddle around on YouTube. So, what are some fun rabbit holes to fall down? Whether it’s learning a new skill, watching a web series, someone you just find fascinating, an interesting topic, a mesmerizing visual, an artist doing something super cool, or hilarious memes, what’s something I could start and then find myself two hours later still enjoying? (Some current favorites of mine are watching anything nerdy like miniature painting, tabletop terrain crafts, 3D modeling tutorials, I also love channels like Omeleto, DUST, and Alter for short films, sci-fi shorts, and horror shorts respectively.)
I’ll pick my favorite or maybe two, but in case it’s a tie or too hard to choose, use “The yellow ones don’t stop” for the randomizer.
Rules: 1. Link your wishlist cause my mobile doesn’t play nice with the flairs. 2. Have something on your list under $10. 3. US only, my bank isn’t a fan of going overseas 4. DBADriverWhoDoesn’tStop
Deadline is Sunday night at midnight EST, as I’ll be laid up all day Sunday falling down your rabbit holes.
