My car broke down on my way home yesterday. I was about 8 cars back from a traffic light on a 2 lane road, with an additional turn lane on the right and the left. (so it's a total of 4 lanes, and a little median thingie between one of the lanes and the left turn lane, all going the same way). I was in the right lane going forward, so blocking traffic which I hated. This happened shortly after 5pm, there was no shortage of other cars, and the light changes pretty frequently, so cars stopped around me every few minutes. (busy intersection)

I eventually got the help I needed moving my car over to the side of the road, a police officer came to flash his lights behind me so I wouldn't get hit, and my husband came to help get my car moving again.

The contest today is to guess a few things:

1. How many cars stopped to see if I was OK.
2. How long until someone offered help to get me to the side of the road.
3. How long my first call with emergency roadside assistance lasted before they asked me if I was blocking traffic and told me to call 911 to get police.

yes, you read that correctly. I called roadside assistance, but then my husband was able to come help so I landed up not using them.
