Hi everyone,
I am excited to be posting an introduction at the group after lurking for a bit. I love how much joy and happiness is spread here so it's one of my favourite places to browse when I need something to smile at.
So I'll tell you a bit about myself but will try to leave some room for anyone to ask questions.
I'm from Australia, but Japan is like my second home having spent time there as an exchange student, the word Hajimemashite means "nice to meet you" in Japanese (I'm conversationally fluent but a bit out of practice...)!
Needless to say I love Japan for several reasons but I will admit I am also a big fan of Anime and video games so my interest in Japan started there and grew to appreciate Japan for all it's wonders when I lived there.
I am very creative (as a pisces ever is) and love drawing, writing and day dreaming. I prefer traditional drawing over digital, but currently only make gifts with my art because I find selling my skills feels a bit soul sucking for me.
I also love many movies and TV shows. I especially love crime, fantasy, sci fi, super heroes, cartoons and adventure. I am well known for my obsession passion for Jurassic Park, all things dinosaurs and Eevee (pokemon).
I also really love tea. Seriously how good is tea?
The final thing I would say about myself is I have a lot of love and joy to spread. I do suffer from mental health issues, but I don't mind being open about it and tackling it head on. Despite my past, I've always loved putting a lot of thought into gifts and seeing peoples happy faces. It really makes me feel good and makes me feel like I'm making someone's day, hence why I'm here.
Oh and look how long this post has gotten. Dare I mention I love a good chat?
