Hi! I found this sub a couple of months ago and I finally feel like maybe I can handle typing about myself lol. Please feel free to ama, lord knows I probably won't be able to remember everything I want to say.

My name is Sarah. I'm 31. I've been spending all my social media time on reddit and really enjoying the disconnection from my friends and family and the ENDLESS politics. I'm a recovering opiate addict (3 years as of July 4th!) I've been dealing with some cravings lately, but I'm in a long term outpatient program, so it's managed. Plenty of coping skills! It's definitely a huge part of whom I am though.

I love animals, especially cats. If I could choose I would be a house cat. Any day. What a freakin life. I love sour candy, finding new treats from other cultures, and learning about the places they come from. I love to make new-to-me alcoholic drinks and trying them.

I thrive on YouTube. Game Grumps, Smosh, Try Guys, JackSepticEye, and CrankGamePlays are just a few that I've been hooked on for the last year or so. I also enjoy video games, though I go through phases. Animal crossing, Mario games, especially Mario party. And pokemon!!! God I love pokemon. It's 100% my favorite. Please ask me anything except what my favorite pokemon is. I'd choose Bulbasaur but I'd feel awful about picking just one.

I often hate being a human being. Like, reddit reminds me that there are plenty of good people in the world. But DAILY I see something that makes me angry that we're destroying our planet.

Especially because my brother's first child, my parents first grandchild, is due at the end of August. He's almost here...I just want the world to be perfect for him. I am an aunt to my best friend's kids, but this is my first blood nephew and I'm. So. Ready. I have a plan to get a black and white tattoo so that when he's old enough, he can color it however he likes. Coloring my limbs was a great way to keep my bff's kids occupied when I babysat them, haha.
