Hello, my name is Kootenay and I came across this subreddit by snooping another users profile to see what they were into so I could send them a cool card. I'm fairly new, but an active user over at r/Randomactsofcards. I'm so glad I did because this is another example of a not-so-hidden gem of Reddit.

Anyways, I got to spend the weekend with my boyfriend and my family; they are amazing. I'm from Vancouver Island and I love it here. The weather doesn't get too cold so I can pretty much look forward to camping most of the year. (Except for now because of a current worldwide situation)

I'm a professional cook but I'm currently (not) working as a chocolate maker at a local factory. I'm also going to nursing school starting September 2021.

In my free time I like to read books, journal/write, make cards for fellow Redditors and watch Netflix. I'm watching The Office right now (why didn't I start watching it years ago...). When the weather is nice I like to be outside in the sunshine.
