CONTEST CLOSED!
(Disclaimer: no, not mine. We're not here to talk about that. Not even a lil bit. I got like 3 weddings to attend between now and my own and I'm still stressing over my own shit so, lets let the spring & summer brides have their moment. )
So May is in full swing and there's no sign of this pandemic calming down. Its wreaking havoc on all my engaged friends. My friend Jen was supposed to get married in 12 days. My college best friend was supposed to get married in 19 days. I am a bridesmaid for that wedding. She is devastated that she has to postpone it a whole YEAR and I am trying to rally the other bridesmaids to put together something special for her for this month.
This contest will have two winners. That's right, there are two ways to enter.
One winner will be someone who is involved with a wedding in 2020. Be it a bride or groom, someone in the bridal party, or someone who works for weddings, if you are involved with a wedding that coronavirus is fucking up in some way shape or form, you're eligible for this part of the contest. Just share your story and have something at least tangentially wedding related (I'm not being too strict about that part) $30 or under on your list. I'll pick one winner for this part using the raffle phrase "FUCK COVID"
For all the other folks out there: how can I cheer up a bride who is stressing about postponing her day? She loves dogs, harry potter, the environment, and wine. I have a few ideas but I suck at executing them. Any suggestion is helpful! I will choose a winner from all suggestions but throw in the raffle phrase "May 2021 bride" so I can distinguish your entries from the entries for 1.
Contest ends on 5/30 aka my bestie's original wedding date. Thank you for entering!
